What Is Blackwater Marsh Airsoft?
Blackwater Marsh Airsoft is a family-owned outdoor airsoft field and hobby shop serving Munford, Tennessee, and the greater Memphis Mid-South area. Owned and operated by John David Albright and Muriel Albright for over 10 years, we run a retail hobby store in downtown Munford alongside an 18-plus acre airsoft field on the outskirts of town.
Our Story
What started as a small hobby shop grew into one of the most complete airsoft destinations in the Mid-South. John David and Muriel built the field themselves — clearing terrain, designing structures, and shaping game modes — because they wanted a place where new players and veteran squads alike could play in real woodland and urban-style terrain instead of a bare paintball-style lot. Today, players drive in from Memphis, the greater Mid-South, and across the Tennessee border to game with us most weekends.
Extraordinary Experiences On 18-Plus Acres
Blackwater Marsh is one of the only airsoft fields in the area with a full facility onsite, including multiple indoor bathrooms, heated and air-conditioned rest areas with chairs, tables, and TVs, gear rentals, snacks, and drinks. Our 18-plus acres include multiple custom-built structures and bases spread across dense woodland and open terrain, so every match plays differently depending on the game mode and objective.
Custom-designed game modes and props — from close-quarters building clears to long-range woodland engagements — make every visit feel one of a kind, whether you’re a first-timer renting gear for an afternoon or a regular squad running a full-day operation.
Who Plays At Blackwater Marsh
Our field welcomes everyone from first-time renters to experienced milsim squads. Players under 18 need a guardian’s signature on the waiver, and anyone under 13 must have an adult playing with them at all times — see the full Field Rules for age, equipment, and safety requirements. If you don’t own gear, full rental packages (gun, ANSI-rated eye protection, facemask, and ammo) are available at the field, so nothing stands between you and your first game day.
Our Core Values
- Respect Blackwater Marsh personnel and fellow customers.
- Follow strict rules that protect every participant.
- Most of all, have fun.
